Steve Miller is a Sports Physiotherapist with 15+ years experience working with athletes covering a wide variety of sports injuries. Steve is passionate about optimising athlete wellbeing, sharing these unique skillsets learned in elite sport, experiences and learnings with the wider population to help others gain exposure to this exciting world, help apply these skills in their world to achieve higher standards across the industry.
Currently working for UK Sports Institute (UKSI) with British Judo athletes, Steve manages athletes and leads the injury prevention and screening/profiling.
Wider responsibilities include academic teaching, cover for British Gymnastics & the International Tennis Federation.
Previously, representing Newcastle Falcons Rugby Union 1st Team managing players in their Premiership Squad 2014-2020 and throughout the Paris Olympic & Paralympic Cycle with Judo athletes in Birmingham, UK.
Steve lectures at various Higher Level Educational Institutions. Teaching programmes include Physiotherapy (BSc), Sports Physiotherapy (MSc), Sports Therapy (BSc) & Sport & Exercise Medicine. He runs Nationwide & International Sports Injury Courses and regular invites to speak at conferences.
